Innovative Free-Standing Gift Basket Solution

Accel tackled a unique display challenge for a client who wanted products to appear naturally arranged in gift baskets while maintaining consistent positioning. The design team engineered a creative solution for difficult-to-secure items, including a bottomless metal sleeve, by creating custom plastic die-cut tabs with notches that clicked into place without adhesives. Wall plugs were ingeniously secured using slots in another die-cut component, repurposing what would normally be discarded packaging elements as functional design features. This innovative approach delivered perfect product placement consistency while reducing waste by incorporating existing packaging components, demonstrating how thoughtful engineering can solve presentation challenges while enhancing sustainability.
