Accel tackled the challenge of inserting mini candles into easily torn, thin paperboard cavities by engineering a precision solution. Our team designed a custom 3D-printed fixture mounted alongside a conveyor belt, allowing the fragile paper insert to be securely supported during candle placement. This innovative approach significantly reduced product damage while ensuring candles were seated at exactly the same depth every time. By combining digital design expertise with practical manufacturing solutions, Accel delivered improved product quality and increased production efficiency by eliminating insertion damage concerns.
